Anything that is of benefit to the members of the site then lets get it signed up!

If anyone knows any club secretaries who would give a discount to our members then perhaps they would email them and invite them to join the ever expanding ranks of the TA faithful!

To join the ranks of the BAA might not be that simple, if my memory serves me correct there was a minimum number of members required but more importantly ALL members of a club had to be members of the BAA, cant see all of TA wanting to become members, but I believe they had used to let outside clubs book matches.

                    hiya all
i think you need a minimum of 15 members to affiliate to BAA, and will need to join as a club.
i used to be in a works club, and brought my card through them, after being an individual member for years.
if you affiliate you get 5 free contests per year. Back to individual member now as club folded when the work closed down,
plus members are now only willing to fish the commies.

£2.00 per peg for affliated clubs to book extra contests, or £4.00 non affiliated thats still good value these days.

                            baa club card

I have a baa club card and have done so for the last 10 years.
Any club with more than 15 members can affiliate to the club and for this you get 4 free matches a year.
The club I fish for is affiliated and out of 15 or so matches a year we get 4 free venues of our choice.
For the cost of £26 a year membership it has to be the best value club card in the midlands with over 200 miles of the severn, avon, miles and miles of canal and a number of pools, the best of which is the nordley complex nr bridgenorth.

Have a gander at their web site for any info on venues, results and club news, see below link
