    only 5 weighed
    Thick ice greeted the anglers on arrival at the river, with the pegs upstream of the A52 bridge fairing the best, Crippo was the only angler to catch below bridge

    Despite having to brave heavy rain for the first half of the match all anglers caught pretty well. with the higher numbers proving favourable.

      This week peg one was at the downstream end where the better Roach showed up. but the upstream end produced more fish
      Anglers had to face a strong southerly wind making fishing difficult for all.

        Although it threw up some good weightsof decent Roach--many of the anglers struggled to catch.despite the conditions seeming perfect,
        The river pulled steady for the first two hrs, but then backed up for a while and then stood,

        There will be matches the last two Sundays of the season
        Plus there will be matches on tuesday 12th and a final fling match on Thursday 14th
        usual draw time and place.

          With strong winds and rain forecast, he match was split to avoid the pegs where the wind was at its worst
          Bread punch was the top bait again this week with the top two weights falling to this method, and many anglers struggling

              Gale force winds faced the brave anglers who tuned up for a last day match, conditions were quite horrendous with the the wind-- plus river running fairly hard after falling by about a foot overnight
              But all anglers managed to bring something to the scales,, Bread punch was the top bait again with the top 3 anglers all on it.
