I don't remember them myself as I always used Trev Tomlin with a pouch at that time but have googled and found these:

            Thanks everyone
Will give My old mate Tony Troth Monday Morning !!
As good a place as any to start.
How i wish Bill Leavesly or the Late Great King of Hoarders Stan Lewis ,were still Open in Bewdley .
Stan had stuff in his Shop that the Romans would have used
Now i reckon Stan would definitely had some in a Drawer somewhere

Thanks very much mate ,you are a Star ,
All of the New Catty's just seem to fall apart when i use them .
I have Arthritis in both Elbows & wrists so use catty's a lot
I also still use various size throwing sticks , fhey are perfect for stick etc .
I've been sat here trying to think who Anthony Hand is .
All of a sudden i Remembered ,its your real Name .
Thanks Alf ,i just missed you in shop on Friday ,& understand you have now retired & fish most days .
You must be an awesome Angler now with all that practice
As i said to Alan .i had @ least 4 yrs off ,after walking away from the Commercials & the 3 to 10 peg daily opens .
I have been going on River mainly Float Fishing lately.
Just starting to get interested again & looking back i wish i had not got so involved with the comes.
I am a Natural Venue Angler & honestly feel I've wasted about 20+ yrs doing something i dont enjoy .
Will no doubt catch up with you soon .Maybe @ Upton ,Colin Harvey was telling me you get down there.
Take Care Alf ,great to know you are still enjoying Fishing.
                See ya soon

Col, I know I used to have a couple but searched the shed and garage but no sign mate but luckily Alf has sorted you out. What elastic are you going to use?

I guess a heavier hollow pole elastic would do the trick.

I use Solid Elastic John Appro £3 for 5mtrs
                    Sizes 8/!0 12/14 14 doubled 16 & 18 both doubled
the coverage is amazing Nicely grouped
Cups never tear & Elastics last ages

I remember them well used to have a couple but think they went in an house move. Maggots used to crawl in the tube if you left it in the bait tub and you had to work the elastic back and forth to get them out lol

Never leave mine in bait box Lance ,always drop into a holder on side of tray that i made for when sat on box
When stood up using Apron i also sew a loop for Catty
I must have tried Every Catty that has ever been made & non of them have come Close
once i started using solid pole elastic in them ,i rarely use anything else
Cant remember last time i used Anything else other than for l chuck G/B
