How would you know which mandrill has been used?
I have an incidental on my left shoulder, he's always there, he's my friend.
He says he gives me good advice. does he ?

If they're made on the same mandrel all of the sections should fit as long as the female and male diameters are the same or close enough so that you could sand the section slightly to make them fit.

although poles can be made on the same mandrill for different manufacturers, the carbon cloth, and cosmetic finish can be completely different,so some sections can have a thicker outer diameter at the ferrule end, both male and female ends,so may not oversleeve properly.

both these poles are made by tricast............I have a tricast neutron pole..............the volterra was made on the same mandrill as the neutron............I think the talisman aswell.........Im after a no4 section for my neutron pole...................just don't know if its just the top kits that fit from these poles or all sections?

As far as I know all sections from the poles you mentioned are compatible. Sections from some of the earlier poles also fit that tricast range.
