  • light setup.

i have a dam/lake near me with some big perch in and would like to try my hand at giving it a go with lure/spinner.
what is the best cheap setup as this would be for abit of fun as i am a match angler.
    thanks

I have a john wilson baitcaster and small abu LH wind multiplier in the garage that I no longer use. £35, if you are interested, made for light lures, but collect/meet to suit as it's too long to post being a 1 piece.

For a good ultra-light set up i would say the Spro Passion rod and micro-reel with 20lb braid. A savage gear 9.5cm 4play liplure. perfect light setup for perch and chub and great fun if a pike grabs too.
