Took a gamble last night and had another crack at Lake Ross in Spalding, the weather during the day was sun rain sun rain sun rain and lots of wind!! Anyway the rain died down so I headed off after work, picked a peg and got set up, I dropped a pot of pellets and corn in on the right swim and left it whilst I plumbed up a paste line to my left, I went back and attempted to fish the pellet line with only a few bits wind/tow was making it hard work but I did have a few silver and a nice carp, So I moved to my paste line, I was making my own paste for the first time using green swim-stim so I was a bit worried it may be a disaster, far from it! mixing the paste was simple and I would off had a fish a chuck if I connected with every knock but I did have some nice carp that love to fight!! Fantastic 4 hours for £4.
