    hi all got a match coming up on pollington canal in the 400s dont no were it is how its fishes every 1 ive asked never heard of it help plse on tactics n baits etc and location thanks

    Between Pontefract & Goole just off M62.Never fished it.Best of luck.

    Supposed to have a fair head of skimmers / bream but not fished it myself.... think it may be small cage feeder across.

    when is the match mate?it fishes better the colder it gets.

    its full of perch at the minute there was 3 30lbs there this time last yr on that stretch near the bridge
    stainforth angling full of loving for all

    Pole at 7 sections max squatt over g-bait. Caster may work. Make your rigs up on top fours. Fish a gbait feeder tight!!!! To the big black boat if your pegged oposite. Put a chop worm line in with a bait dropper, chop up lobworms and fish small red worm on the hook.
    Peg 410 is probably the flier.

    Pollington Canal? Most likely the Aire and Calder canal at Pollington, go on google Earth. 400's are at the bridge end, not the lock end of the stretch.
