this is my local water ive fished weekly for months now, you will have Tench by the bucket Perch then roach. poss the odd decent skimmer bream if its an afternoon match.

dead reds, light castors, light coloured pastes, bacon grill, large Sweetcorn yellow/red, l DONT PRE BAIT it kills of the swim everytime. dont ignore the margins. 1,1/2lb tench will take bacon grill from you soft verge side right to the bridge will see you 30-50lb+ on a good day in your net.

low wieghts win at Moira from what ive witnessed persoanlly.

start on castor and maggot then bacon grill to corn and back on grill if its slow.

there is no point fishing out more than 8m as its full of Tench and perch try 2,1/2, 3ft up in the water will have you Roach/perch on the drop with red maggot.

when the Tench at moira are having it go on paste!

best of luck fella ive not had a bad day yet at the Bath Yard.
its a place i go for a good day out with the kids they never get bored.

rigs wise as its heavy on weed, i setup with 5/6lb main with a min of 2.6lb hook length. size12 hook does well for all baits

maggots with one or two dropped over the float is all you need the odd pea of paste also. very little and often seems to do me well.

ive found lighter hook lenths are taken with the odd decent Tench so are not worth using the fish are not shy and will either feed well or not simple as that.
