Default fly fishing for coarse fish (film clip)

I am currently working on a DVD for Dominic Garnett, to support his book Fly Fishing for Coarse Fish.
This week's Angler's Mail has a taste of the type of fishing we've been filming. There is also a short clip here: COARSE FISH ON FLY GEAR! - YouTube

Hope to get Dom on board here at TA so he can answer questions about fly fishing for coarse fish...

The best fun you can have with your trousers on.

Second only to livebaiting with goldfish on a canal.

When is the book due to be released?
Spot on Luke, I had my biggest rudd on the fly. Also caught chub, perch, roach and a bream by accident when fly fishing for trout.
Be interested to know how you can target coarse fish.

It's at the printers now, but I'm not sure of the exact release date. As soon as I have info from Dom, I'll let you know...

There's lads on the fly forums target river barbel on fly gear, I think they trickle weighted nymphs along the deck. Must be some scrap on a 6 weight!
