    Unhappy Numpty.

After a night out with some old friends recently (3 weeks this sunday)I was standing at a patio door where people where coming into the house
after a very heavy rain shower. As I finished giving words of caution about the floor being wet and the tiles being lethal I closed the door and....whooosh
my heals where over my head and I landed backwards onto my left wrist.
Got an x-ray the next day and it revealed a chip had come off the joint. What an idiot!!!!
Anyway..anyone ever fish with a dodgy wrist?its the left one and Im right handed,
Is it worth my while even bothering to hit the river the weekend???
The withdrawals have truly set in at this stage.

Just go out, sit by the river and enjoy the birds and wildlife, (while we all carry on fishing)

We are off down to that boathouse on the estuary this Saturday or a week.

its a 3 and a half hour round trip Rick.
not too sure if I would be frustrating myself even further If I go,
    the mind boggles..

I broke my right shoulder in 1989 ( I am right handed) and couldnt drive as my arm was in a sling, got my mate to take me to the club matches for a few weeks and fished left handed, and still won a few--much to the annoyance of some of the other anglers, at the presntation evening I got up and thanked everyone who had helped me while my arm was ina sling,, and one of the wives said to her hubby--"and he still beat you with one hand"

There a great pub in Offaly called the boat not far from Rahan I think.
