    Default Rick /Carol B Thank you !!

Finally forced myself to bite the Bullet today !!
After months of intending to go Fishing on the River & putting it off .
Today i arranged to meet Rick & Carol @ Pershore Right Bank ,below the bridge.
Amazingly i managed to load some gear into the car & made my way to meet them .
Called into Tackle Shop to pick up some Hemp & 1 pint Casters as a change bait ,Tares or Soft Black pellet was the chosen method.
They had already found their pegs & i quickly found 1 downstream about 4 pegs below Rick,
BAA say the pegs all have Flat Platforms to fish from .Only thing is these platforms are between 8 & 10 foot above the water.
Eventually when the torrential Rain stopped ,i set a 15ft Superteam rod up with a 6 no 4 stick to fish 8ft deep 3 rods out
after only a few runs through it looked right & feeding hemp & Caster down the peg i soon started catching a small Roach or Skimmer a Chuck .
Rick came down & sat behind me for about 15mins ,to take the mick !!
Surprisingly he never said a word .
I quickly started varying my Shotting depth Speed of Float & managed to catch a couple of Small chub on double caster & then some 3 to 4oz Roach & Skimmers.
Finished after about 3hrs as i didnt want to get wet
All in all i was happy with the way things went. I ended up with around 5lbs ,but more importantly i found that i could still get the stick to work as i wanted .I thoroughly enjoyed it & will definitely go again .
Thank You Rick n Carol for all your support .A Fantastic Couple Col
    Colin

Pleasure me old mate, i didnt disturb you to much because
1, thought id leave you in peace
    2, i was catching too well 😂😂😂😂
These Roach are loving the hemp n tare on the warks Avon this year it took all of 15 mins fpr them to switch on, Col i did come down to take the mick, but when i saw how you where running it through i had second thoughts 👍.

Like i said on the day, lets make it a regular thing, just need to do some homework on stages that are nearer the river than the fields.
Cal ended up with around 20lb, skimmers, big Perch and chub up to a pound n half.
Just gotta find a bit of old pole to repair my shakespeare lexicon 13ft rod now, looked after it like a baby since the 80,s and to here it go CRACK made me feel sick 🤢🤮
