    Default Dacron cutting elastic

Had four topkits where the dacron has cut through the elastic this weekend. How are people attatching dacrons nowadays, tried double sleeving but never felt that I got it right.

I have mine double sleeved as I had the same issue a couple of months ago. The elastic that I had it had been in for a while and the dacron and rig all ended up in the lake I was fishing.

I have a 7h with a 13h double sleeve on it and it seems to be working ok

Ive gone off attaching dacron to elastic for the same reason.Tried sleeving but found it awkward. So I went back to Drennan connecters and use dacron with them.Attach your dacron to where you would attach your line attach a small sleeve and push it up to where your dacron joins the connecter and it keeps the dacron nice and straight.Ive used this way for a while now and it works really well,i don't notice any difference. In fact I think someones bought out ready made ones, could be middy.
