    Rick also Regatta we bought some thermal overtrousers for silly money 2 years ago under 20 and they are brilliant. Twice a year stick them in the washing machine with Grangers reproving and Bobs your Knob. But no designer labels unfortunately for the tackle tarts but they work

    We have got some Reggata ones, fold up into a little bag.
    Ok for a stroll in a shower but fairly useless sitting in a downpour tbh

    Anything that folds into a bag I wouldn't consider to be honest Rick but these overtrousers have been brilliant. My other take on this is if your at the top of your game regarding match fishing you would buy Sandra's Gore Tex but old boys like me who check the weather before fishing just want a decent waterproof.

    Far from the top of my game John, but do get out nearly every weekend sometimes Sat and Sunday, i could never justfy Halkon hunt money.
    Noticed some ex RAF goretex on ebay, nice plane blue but limited in sizes from what i have found yet

    have a look at Vass-Tex 175 Breathable Lightweight Trousers got some this year for 35 , quite impressed with them , have them rolled up in my bag..
