    I echo Jethro's comments. I really like reading your thoughtful and helpful insight into trying to assist other anglers who are not maybe as able as yourself or some of the other anglers on this forum to competently fish whilst trying to learn from their mistakes

    Sorry Col got fed up of waiting for the come back and went to bed.
    What hat ?
    Hopfully getting on the rivers before they close, but bon laid up good and propper with real flu, never had it before its taken about a month to get rid of properly so not been out at all.
    Not given the weekender a thought tbh, we should meet up before they close and run the the stick or wagg though for a day

    I'm up for that as long as we can find a day that I don't have a Gig on the Night.
    Didn't know you had been laid up with that Bloody Virus ,I sympathise mate .
    Poor old Russ Millward has had it since just before Xmas still not completely over it..

    The thread was originally put up just as a matter of interest, glad it got some response, its not so much about who knows what, more to get anglers communicating, one thing then leads to another, all good what ever the outcome, thanks all. Line.
