Col I love packington due to the fact that it's so varied unless you drawer awesome or fish like Johny Newton that is 😂
With x60 pegs on molands it can be pegged nice yes it might not fish fantastic all the way around but with the format we use you only got to beat x2 in your section to get towards the team victory

Jason it wasn't so much Packington I was thinking about as being more Specialist it was Barton
& the well publicised 100mtr + chucks that many regulars say that unless you can chuck your method that Far & fish with Walters, what ever the bleeding hell they are ,you can't compete
I have always been able to chuck a Feeder farther than most ,But I know I would struggle to hit 110 metres
    85 , 90 maybe @ a push without loads of practice
Without being Disrespectful to the lads on here most would struggle to chuck 50yds accurately.
I could imagine Packington being enjoyable because as you say you can catch on a Variety of methods
Personally I think it would be far more enjoyable Fishing Packington both days with all Anglers in a line every other peg
or peg 2 miss 1 to save money on Peg Fees

It's simple. You fish within the limits of your ability and range. Barston could offer a lot in terms of different methods those that want to chuck big can. Or those good on bomb wag pole all have a chance of catching

barston is a pukka venue but beware of the walkers when your fishing the pole can be a mare... Only fished it twice last time it fished hard but was a silvers only match.... Lol... But as Adam said you can catch short and at 50 to 80yds....

Hi Guys - wow you guys have all been busy whilst I've been enjoying myself for the last 3 weeks.

I have offered to book the venues for 2018 and yes as I know Packington and Barston very well and also good friends with both managers so these venues are No1 on my list, however I haven't ruled out other venues just yet as I'm looking to include the night life you lot crave for lol. However the thought of you lot tearing up my sleepy little village with all the farting, swearing and boisterous behaviours 😂 I'd probably have to up sticks and move home.

Leave it with me to do a little more home work and I'll get back to you all in a few weeks - by all means keep the suggestions coming.
