After more than a decade away from angling, I decided over the winter to make a return, so last Sunday morning I went and spent a few hours down on the Birmingham Fazeley Canal near my home. I'm not a fan of pole fishing so I'm always on a running line and I also prefer to have the option and ease of being able to move swims if needs be, not something you can easy do with poles and seat box.

A few hours produced a few fish from a handful of swims, the best fish being a new PB skimmer, the second fish of the session.
