    Another Question For You Guys.

Does The Tapered Cone Make A Difference Or Would Just A Cilinder Piece Of Copper Pipe Or Something Work Just The Same ?

    Thankyou Mitch

Cone is easier to push out matey and you can compress the pellets harder.

    Ok Mate Thankyou.

Im confused how the cone would make a difference in copressing the pellet any harder than a cilinder.

i can see how it is easer to remover the pellet though

    Thankyou Mitch

Well if you think about it Mitch a tapered cone would require you to push the contents of the larger end through the smaller thats the square peg in the round hole scenario there is enough resistance from the cone alone to compact the pellet.

with a paralel tube or cylinder there wouldnt be any resistance unless of course you cap the end, removal then would be difficult as with the cone it needs to move only a millimetre or two for it to become free, the cylinder however the pellet wouldnt become free untill completly out

Mitch fish the t-bag is the name given to pellet in a PVA bag in this area. It has the same effect as the cone method and puts the pellets right by the hook. They are made up the night before and any size or type of pellet can be used. The limitations are that you need a larger bomb to cast out and you can't use wet soaked pellets.

well with having trouble with the pellets he uses i got disponded and started using the same method using green swimstim g/bait at my local pond over the winter casting to the island and did quite well catching when others did not ! i will have to experiment with diff pellets to see which ones are best in the next couple of weeks, a friend fishing a local commercial had good success using the method with micro pellets lately so will keep you informed how things turn out m8
