If u fancy some proper river fishing, there's are regular float only opens on the R. Severn at Arley , organisor is Dave Foxall, 07952 099896.
Back to nature stuff, draw in a car park, no cafe and some long walks. The fishing's good though, Barbel and chub.

Watson went down last week to have a look passed 1 angler & the next1 was about 1/2 mile away !!
You have to be young & fit or a Bit Mental to fish !!
How did we ever fish some of the Severn venues 3 sometimes 4 times a week ??
Thats why Twyford farm was so popular ,Park 3ft from your peg

The walks are an issue, but you can leave out your pole and feeder rods and generally lighten your kit a fair bit in a float only. Alos bear in mind that Dave only pegs the flyers, and every peg that's in is a potential match winner on its day, gives me a spring in my step anyway! ..and there's something about playing barbel on the wag that turns me on...
